Aldine ISD students on school bus hurt in accident with pickup truck

An Aldine Independent School District bus was involved in an accident with a pickup truck around 4:00 p.m. this afternoon and nine children were transported to hospital as a result. The crash happened at the intersection of FM 1960 and W. Hardy: the pickup truck was heading northbound on W. Hardy when it struck the driver's side of the school bus. At the time of the crash there were 29 students from Parker Intermediate School riding home. Police spoke to witnesses to try and determine which driver was responsible for the accident.
