A man was struck and killed by a vehicle this morning as he pushed his disabled car on the Gulf Freeway. The accident happened around 3:00 a.m. at Interstate 45 near FM 2351. The man and a passenger were pushing the vehicle in a construction zone when a second vehicle was unable to stop in time and struck the driver of the stranded vehicle.
