A crossing guard working outside Condit Elementary School in Bellaire was hit by a car yesterday. Bellaire Police Department say the driver of a maroon-colored Cadillac made an illegal right turn and hit the guard, throwing her onto the hood of his vehicle. The crossing guard was conscious as she was transported to the hospital. The driver of the Cadillac was ticketed for causing the accident.
