Channel 2 is reporting that 26-year old Daniel Riekstins of Webster, Texas has been charged with online solicitation of a minor. In early September, according to court documents, a League City woman posed as a 15-year old girl and friended Riekstins on Facebook. Investigators say Riekstins and the woman exchanged sexually explicit messages and Riekstins asked to meet the girl he believed was 15-years old so they could have sex. Police say the 36-year old woman posing as a minor contacted authorities instead. Webster Police detective David Settles told Channel 2 that Riekstins did not denying making the comments when he was shown them. The woman who set up the sting decided to do so when an acquaintance told her Riekstins was using Facebook to solicit sex with underage girls. Riekstins was arrested at his parents' apartment on Tuesday morning. Riekstins aunt told Channel 2 that: "He's innocent. He did not do this. He's innocent and will get his judgment day." Webster Police believe there may be other victims: anyone with information should call 281 332 2426.
